Call for Proposals for Implementing Partners of Not-for-profit Organisations - Apprenticeship Programme for Refugees and Host-Communities in Greater Cairo, Alexandria and Damietta
PROSPECTS Egypt aims to ensure that refugees and members of the host community (HCs) in Greater Cairo, Alexandria, and Damietta are well equipped with relevant skills that would prepare them to find sustainable job opportunities in the labour market.
Within PROSPECTS programme, the ILO seeks to provide refugees and host communities (HCs) with adequate skills to improve their employability on the one hand, for example, through technical and vocational education and training (TVET), apprenticeship programmes, career guidance and soft skills. On the other hand, it seeks to promote self-employment and enterprise development, for example, by enhancing the entrepreneurial skills of refugees and HC to start and improve their businesses.
The tender incorporates contract conditions/ KPIs that stipulate the verification of suppliers' environmental and social claims through “spot checks” and audit provisions.
