ASSIGNMENT TITLE:  RFP Digital Transformation Support to UNDP Country Offices in Asia Pacific
DURATION: September 2025 – August 2026
COUNTRY OF ASSIGNMENT: Travel required to Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Indonesia countries. 

UNDP’s Regional Innovation and Digital (RID) team at the Bangkok Regional Hub supports countries in designing sustainable digital ecosystems aligned with UNDP’s Digital Strategy. RID applies approaches like “Digital by Design” and “Digital Portfolio” while fostering communities of policymakers and enabling South-South cooperation. In collaboration with ADB, which finances scalable digital programs, UNDP aims to co-support countries with advisory services, strategy development, AI integration, and capacity building. This includes assisting in the design of national digital strategies, institutional frameworks, and ethical AI policy sandboxes. The partnership emphasizes research, community engagement, and knowledge-sharing to build resilient digital governance systems. Target countries include Sri Lanka, Nepal, Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, and Thailand, with the goal of delivering impact-driven, bankable digital transformation initiatives across the region.
