Description
1. The UNMHA is seeking highly qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of Airport Handling Services at Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) in Amman, Jordan. Services may also be required occasionally at Marka Airport and King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba (OJAQ) as alternates, on an "as and when required" basis. The contract will be for an initial period of two (2) years, with the option to extend for up to three (1+1+1) additional one-year periods, subject to satisfactory performance and the continued mandate of UNMHA. This would result in maximum potential duration of five (5) years. 2. The Contractor shall provide the following services in accordance with international civil aviation standards, UN directives, and as requested under UNMHA Aviation operations: • Aircraft, Passenger, occasional Cargo, Dangerous Goods Handling Services • Payment of airport fees The services shall apply to scheduled and non-scheduled UNMHA flights, including aircraft up to a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) of 24,000 kg, or others as communicated by UNMHA. UNMHA anticipates up to 128 standard services per year (each consisting of an arrival and departure) across QAIA, Marka, and Aqaba airports. UNMHA reserves the right to add/remove/change airports based on operational needs. 3. This EOI does not constitute a solicitation. OSESGY/UNMHA reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to an EOI does not automaticall guarantee that such compay will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued . INTERESTED VENDORS SHOULD NOTE THAT THE MINIMUM LEVEL FOR REGISTRATION FOR THIS TENDER IN UNGM (www.ungm.org) IS BASIC LEVEL, COMPANIES WHICH ARE NOT ACTIVELY REGISTERED IN UNGM MAY NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THE UPCOMING TENDER. Specific Requirements/Information MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: Participating vendors will be required to submit upon receipt of solicitation documents the following minimum requirements and other documents which will be elaborated in the solicitation documents: i. The bidder must hold valid approval from the Jordan Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC) authorizing the provision of Passenger and Ground Handling Services at both Queen Alia International Airport and Marka Airport. ii. The bidder must be a member of IATA and demonstrate implementation of the ISAGO (IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations) standards. Additionally, membership in the International Aviation Handlers Association (IAHA) and the Gulf Airport Services Association (GASA) is required. iii. The bidder must be certified by AHS 1000, Cargo 2000, TIACA, and hold a valid ISO 9001:2000 or ISO 9001:2015 quality management certification. iv. The bidder must possess an active ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System certification, demonstrating that operations are conducted in an environmentally responsible manner with systems in place for identifying, monitoring, and minimizing environmental impact.
