Tender Number: IMO-2025-RFP-017 - Feasibility Study for modification of an Interisland Ferry.
With reference to the Request for Proposal (RFP) dated 1 August 2025, IMO wishes to issue an Amendment 1 to:
1. Extend RFP deadline: The Deadline for submission to the RFP has been extended to Friday, 5 September 2025 (12:00 hrs, UK Time) instead of Friday, 29 August 2025, 12:00 hours (UK Time).
2. Provide the responses to the clarifications raised by bidder(s), as per below details

1 The International Maritime Organization (IMO) seeks proposals for “Feasibility study for modification of an Interisland Ferry from conventional to hybrid propulsion encompassing hydrogen fuel in combination with battery technology”, in accordance with the requirements, terms and conditions stipulated herein.

3 In submitting a proposal, the bidder accepts in full and without restriction the requirements of this RFP including the Terms of Reference and the IMO General Conditions Services as the sole basis of this tender process, and waives his own conditions of sale, whatever they may be. Bidders should not submit a proposal if they are unable to accept the IMO Terms and Conditions, as per Annex B.
4 Proposals must be received by the IMO no later than 29 August 2025, 12:00 hours (UK Time). Proposals received after the designated time will be automatically rejected. Proposals are to be transmitted online via the IMO procurement portal, using the unique link in the invitation email, stating the RFP reference in the subject line. Submission of proposals by other means is not accepted.
