The United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) is pleased to invite prospective bidders to bid for the current repairs of two Mykolaiv-based hospitals, specifically:
Lot 1: Current repair of the part of the 4th floor of the 4-storey medical building of the Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise "Mykolaiv Regional Clinical Hospital" of the Mykolaiv Regional Council, at the address: 1, Kyivska Street, Mykolaiv city, Mykolaiv region, Ukraine
Lot 2: Current repair of the 2nd floor, the rehabilitation and physical therapy department, of the Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise of the Mykolaiv City Council "City Hospital No.3" at the address: 97, Kosmonavtiv Street, Mykolaiv city, Mykolaiv region, Ukraine in accordance with the requirements and process as set out in this Request for Quotation (RFQ).

It is absent in the specification.6525-007-НЕА001-МГ (drawing 2, page 4 and drawing 4 page 6) - an item is absent in BOQ and in the specification as well.Please clarify whether loading, waste removal and landfill services are the contractor's expenses and how to take these expenses into account in the proposal.Do hospitals provide electricity and water supply networks? If no - how to take these expenses into account in the proposal?Do hospitals provide storage space for materials, utility rooms for the contractor's personnel?Is space provided on the hospital grounds for the contractor's temporary structures (warehouse, social containers, office)?Kind regards, __________ Dear Bidder, Thank you for the questions. The answers are as follows (in the same order): 1. Regarding item 6525-007-HEA001-ОВ (drawing 4, page 8), these correspond to Line Items 689 and 690 in the Bill of Quantities (BoQ). This is a finished product, and as such, separate drawings are not developed for it. In the specification, this item is located on Sheet 17 of the OB specification, position 336, and includes dimensions and manufacturer's data. As was noted during the Pre-Bidding Meeting, bidders can propose a similar product from an alternative manufacturer. 2. Concerning item 6525-007-НЕА001-МГ (drawing 2, page 4 and drawing 4 page 6), if the query refers to reduction blocks and a distribution unit, these are indeed not included in the delivery set as they are existing components. 3. Correct: loading, waste removal, and landfill services are indeed the contractor's expenses. These costs must be included in the BoQ under Line Items 19 and 20.4. Hospitals will provide electricity and water supply networks. However, the reimbursement of hospital expenses for these utilities must be accounted for in the bidders' proposal. 5. Given that the hospital remains operational, storage space for equipment and materials will be limited. These spaces will primarily be utilized within the premises currently undergoing renovation. The provision of additional storage space will be decided on an individual basis, following the contractor's development of a comprehensive plan and subsequent agreement with the hospital. 6. Space for waste containers will be provided on the hospital grounds. Any other areas for the contractor's temporary structures (such as warehouses, social containers, or offices) will need to be agreed upon separately with the respective hospitals.
