Description

The UNFCCC secretariat is seeking a qualified vendor to provide the following:

Access to Microsoft Azure cloud services through an authorized Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP). The objective is to enable efficient procurement and management of Azure consumption and reserved capacity for the UNFCCC secretariat over a period of several years. The intended contract will support an existing operational Azure CSP footprint, with an expected gradual annual reduction, as the footprint of infrastructure hosted in CSP subscriptions is reduced whilst legacy systems are decommissioned, and new systems are deployed in Azure subscriptions under a Microsoft Enterprise agreement.

To be eligible to participate in the solicitation exercise, vendors must attach evidence of the following to the EOI:

  • Status as Microsoft-authorized Tier 1 or Tier 2 CSP
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with Azure CSP provisioning

Detailed specifications will only be provided as part of the ITB, which will be issued after the closing date of this request for EOI.  Please note that no further details of the planned solicitation can be made available to the vendors prior to issuance of the solicitation documents.
