New clarification added: Question :Stage 3 - Evaluation Criteria - Qualification Criteria.Item No. 5 states Bidders must be registered with the National Council for Construction in Zambia under category B or C, grade 5 or higher. Alternatively, consulting engineering firms registered under civil engineering, classification B2, are eligible. All bidders must possess an EIZ company registration that specifies a category in topographic survey. In the earlier clarification UNOPS indicated the bidders must be memebers of both EIZ and ACEZ but Item No.5 above seems to only speak of NCC and EIZ and puts ACEZ registration as an alternative. Can firms that are ONLY registered with NCC and EIZ also submit their bids even if they are not yet registered with ACEZ? ACEZ has indicated that the registration process with the association takes a minimum of 1 month meaning there is not time to do so for now. Unops Answer :Firms that are registered with NCC and EIZ in accordance with evaluation criteria 5. are eligible.
