Description
This RFI is issued for the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) to identify available solutions for the digitization of cadastral maps in Albania.
This RFI will serve to conduct market research to identify firms capable of providing solutions for the above stated requirement. It has a special interest in new technologies that allow fast, efficient and high quality service delivery.
This market research shall be conducted at NO COST TO THE UNITED NATIONS. Suppliers may be requested, as part of this RFI, to present to UNOPS their product.
Respondents to this RFI may be requested to present to UNOPS the solutions proposed.
The Request For Information (RFI) is not a solicitation for offers, and accordingly, no contract will be awarded from its publication. Your responses, as a result of this announcement, shall focus on providing recommendations for the requirements as detailed in the subsequent sections of this document. Information provided in the RFI may be used by UNOPS to create any subsequent Request for Proposal (RFP) / Invitation to Bid (ITB).
You should clearly mark any proprietary information submitted in response to this RFI.
For companies not registered with the UN Global Marketplace (UNGM) it is mandatory to do so in order to be able to do business with UNOPS. The UN Global marketplace is a database of active and potential suppliers available to all UN and World Bank procurement personnel, and is the main supplier database of more than 20 UN organizations. New clarification added: Thank you for submitting this request for clarification. With regards to your questions 1-3, please note that we are coordinating the response with an external party and we have not yet been able to prepare. We will post the clarifications here once ready. Question 4: the set up of the RFI has now been changed to allow for the documents to be attached. Please let us know if this is not satisfactory. Question 5: same as question 4.Question 6: at this stage of the RFI, UNOPS is not able to determine the type of contract that we will use for these services, this will be established with the tendering procedure once ready to be published. You can, however, learn more about the UNOPS contractual modalities and the general conditions applicable to them in the link below: https://www.unops.org/business-opportunities/supplier-resource-centre Question 7: please note that no invoicing / payment milestones have been established for this project.
