Will we be involved in the planning or virtual support, or is our role limited to editing only? Will any localization be required for the videos, such as subtitles or versions in multiple languages?Answer,1. Most likely 4 counties from the Latin America region (Brazil will likely be one of them), 4 from the Asia-Pacific region and 2 from Africa.2. Role limited to editing and the delivery of the finalized video assets.3. English subtitles shall be added to all videos.Regards, UNOPS-Procurement

New clarification added: 1. In regard to section 3 of the RFP and providing technical production services for online events - How do you see the online event occurring?? Will there be any central location or camera setups, as we have done in the past, eg a hybrid event, or do you see it solely as a purely Zoom or Teams-like event?2. In regard to Section 8 of the RFP,regarding public relations andcommunications services, and the allocation of points dependent on approach, tailing to target audiences and analytics reports:In what regard do you envision the provider providing public relations and/or communication services? Is this to reach broadcasters for example and print and online press, or rather NGOS? Do you have an in-house communications team we would be liasing with?3. In regard to filming in remote locations, it will be difficult to name particular subcontractors as countries and locations as you note have not been selected, nor how much travel would be involved. Can you clarify or suggest how we would identify which local suppliers we would use and name?Answer,1. A Zoom like event.2. Basic communications materials that our in-house communications team can avail itself of.3. There’s no need to identify the specific suppliers as the countries and initiatives are yet to be confirmed. Please only add an indicative amount/percentage of budget that can be directed to travel or hiring of subcontractors, knowing it can slightly vary depending on the need related to the specific 2025 countries.Regards,UNOPS-Procurement

New clarification added: Dear Procurement Team,We are very enthused about this RFQ. We have a few questions:1. As you note the project is to be TV-quality,yet also for social media, should we budget for not only 4K filming but also 4K deliverables? 2. Would you also like deliverables of Dialogue and Music and Effects separate, for broadcast in countries where dubbing into the local language may be preferable?3. Could you foresee putting the 10 videos into one longer form video?4. Understanding that there are many diverse locations, do you know which countries or locations are decided already so we can best budget the forms?5. Can we include our own industry standard budget form as well as the overall price in the financial proposal?Answer,2.1 As you note the project is to be TV-quality,yet also for social media, should we budget for not only 4K filming but also 4K deliverables? Yes.2.2 Would you also like deliverables of Dialogue and Music and Effects separate, for broadcast in countries where dubbing into the local language may be preferable? No2.3 Could you foresee putting the 10 videos into one longer form video? No, no need.2.4 Understanding that there are many diverse locations, do you know which countries or locations are decided already so we can best budget the forms? No, we’ll know the countries as soon as the contract is issued to the winning bidder. We are currently finalizing the selection process. You shall expect to have roughly about 3-4 projects in the Latin America region, 3 in Africa and 3 in Asia Pacific.2.5 Can we include our own industry standard budget form as well as the overall price in the financial proposal? Please use the forms provided by UNOPS.Regards,UNOPS-Procurement

New clarification added: Dear Sir/Madam, Can you please answer the following questions? 1. Related to: No travel is foreseen for meetings with the client team; however, some (strictly necessary only) travel should be budgeted in proposals for meetings with the awardees within their communities. Vendors must ensure that their bids include all necessary expenses related to contacting local organizations for interviews. The contractor will be responsible for any costs associated with these decisions. Our main priority is to receive the final deliverables, specifically high-quality videos that meet the outlined requirements.Do we understand correctly that in previous years local teams have predominantly recorded the local stories, where needed? And, perhaps only in a few occasions where quality standards needed to be guaranteed, rarely team members travelled from abroad? 2. Can you confirm that the winners will only be selected after the award of this contract? Meaning that clarity on how/where to produce will only come at a later stage? Answer,1. To be able to produce high-quality videos about the 10 different initiatives, Vendor will need to gather video footage on the ground. In order to do so, Vendor might have to travel to locations to record interviews with community members and gather b-roll to produce the final videos. Given that at times it might be not possible/safe, or not fully cost effective to travel to highly remote locations, in a couple of instances Vendor might deem instead safer or more cost effective to subcontract a skilled local videographer who could work under Vendor’s close supervision to gather such video assets, as opposed to travel to location from its central office. Decisions must be made on a case by case basis. Vendor remains responsible to ensure high-quality final product and video editing quality standards that can be consistent throughout the 10 mini-documentaries produced.2. The winners are being selected now and results will be shared with the selected bidder as soon as the contract is issued.Regards,UNOPS- Procurement
