Subject: Addition to Term of Reference - UNDP-IRQ-01708 - Technical and OJT Solar System Training to the University of Kirkuk
Reference is made to the UNDP published procurement notice for the “Technical and OJT solar system training to the University of Kirkuk” on Quantum, UNDP and UNGM websites respectively.
All interested potential bidders are hereby notified that:
1. With reference to Terms of Reference, additional clarification has been added to Output 2, Activity 2.1, as per following:
Activity 2.1 Identify location (building) for the pilot solar project and procurement of the needed tools and equipment.
A quick feasibility assessment conducted in collaboration with the university to identify a suitable building/area at the university premises where the OJT and pilot solar project can be implemented. During the assessment, the capacity of work needs to be identified, leading to the procurement of all necessary solar panels (without batteries), equipment, tools and civil works of the system installation.
Added clarification: The total cost of this activity including the assessment, procurement of all solar panels (without batteries), installation equipment, tools, electrical, civil and other works, PPE for the trainees, shall not exceed 170,000 USD*. This amount can be reflected in budget line #2.4.3 of the budget template as a lump-sum or breakdown of the costs associated.
• Prices shall be quoted only in the currency indicated in the system. Local suppliers should quote in IQD, International suppliers can quote either in IQD or USD. The UN rate at the closing date will be considered for exchange rate.
The interested bidders are kindly requested to reference the updated TOR and submit the revised updated bid while submitting their offers. This Addendum- 01 forms an integral part of the UNDP-IRQ-01708.
All other Terms and Conditions in this RFP will remain unchanged.
