Individual National Consultant to Conduct Analysis of Social Protection Coverage, Adequacy, Costing and Policy Recommendations 

Project Title

Global Accelerator on Jobs and Social Protection for Just Transitions (GA-JSP)

Purpose

To provide the GoN, social partners, development partners, and other stakeholders with a comprehensive analysis of the coverage, adequacy and financing gaps of social protection system, to inform the development of the Global Accelerator Roadmap for Nepal.

Total 35 workdays from 26 May to 15 July 2025

The ILO Country Office for Nepal is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from qualified individual consultant to conduct a comprehensive analysis of social protection coverage and adequacy in Nepal.

Candidates intending to submit an expression of interest must submit the following information/documents:

  1. A description of how the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience are relevant to the required qualifications of this assignment.
  2. A list of previous studies or analysis conducted that are relevant to the context and subject matter of this assignment.
  3. A statement confirming the availability of the candidate to conduct this assignment and the daily professional fees. (The cost of travel and DSA for fieldwork within the scope of this assignment as deemed necessary will be provided by the ILO as per its rules and regulations).
  4. An updated copy of the candidate’s CV.
  5. Two recent reports or analysis authored as team leader or team member as per the application.
  6. A statement confirming that the candidate had no previous involvement in the implementation of the project to be reviewed or has no personal relationship with any of the ILO Officials engaged in the project.
  7. The names of two referees (email addresses) who managed the studies or analysis mentioned in #2 above.

The deadline to for the submission of an EOI is by COB (i.e. 17:30 Nepal time) 06 May 2025. Please send an e-mail with the subject line “EoI for a Social Protection Coverage, Adequacy, and Costing Analysis and Policy Recommendations for Nepal” to ktm_procurement@ilo.org.

The candidates who submitted their EOI earlier are not required to resubmit the EOI.
