Based on the results of this exercise, UNOPS intends to enter into a non-exclusive Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with the successful bidder for the supply of for Provision of Printing Services for a period of 12 months with the possibility of extension for another year according to the performance, fund availability and if the BPA has not exceeded the maximum contract ceiling as follows: 500,000.00 USD

New clarification added: Business card with Letterpress cannot be 2-sided as the letterpress pushes through to the opposite side. If you wanted a 2-sdied letterpress BC, it would need to be mounted 2-ply. This seems unrealistic for UN standards. Can we quote Letterpress 1 side?Same goes with the last BC which request emboss/deboss. You cannot do this 2-sided card unless it is mounted 2-ply and once again, In servicing the UN for 2-+ years, I don't think we've ever done a letterpress card OR emboss/deboss card. We can produce all of these internally, but i think this quoting aspect should be eliminated. At the moment, we are not quoting these two line items because they cannot be produced as spec'd. New clarification added: DAP Incoterm - please note, it isn't possible to configure shipping to UNOPS offices from our LIC facility with all of the various quoted quantities. We will provide box counts that can provide pricing guidance on shipping, BUT, we are not able to apply freight into the UNIT costs. Also, with the new congestion pricing, delivery rates have jumped quite a bit and we have started using UPS & FedEx more frequently when time allows as it drives costs down. Thus we are using 3-4 different shipping companies, depending on the rush/non-rush nature of the project. We think it makes sense to ask pricing for (1) 30lb carton delivered to UNOPS via same day courier, UPS Ground, and FedEX overnight. Then perhaps raise that to 3 cartons, and 10 cartons. That would be a better way to evaluate shipping costs. But don't burry it in the print pricing.Answer,Please note that UNOPS requires bidders to meet specific qualification criteria. Bidders must be legally incorporated in the United States and have either a printing facility or a representative presence in the Metropolitan New York area or the Tri-State area (which includes New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut). These criteria are in place to prevent unexpected delivery costs. If a bidder does not meet these requirements, they will not pass the qualification evaluation. We hope this answers your question.
