New clarification added: Clarification:Dear Sir/Madam,I hope this email finds you well.Please note that regarding the buried HDPE piping as per the BOQ item 5.1 in the Fire Fighting stated that "Supply , install, test and commission HDPE (High-density polyethylene) 65mm dia." while in the drawings there is also a 50mm dia pipe for the relief pipe extended from the pumps room to the GPR tank that its quantities and size are not included in the BOQs regarding both sites.Best regards,Light Speed CompanyUNOPS REPLY:Dear Rinan,The BoQ will be updated by adding Item 5.2 in the Fire Fighting section, highlighted in red for easy reference. New clarification added: Clarification:We wish to formally bring attention to a significant concern involving inconsistencies in the firefighting system's Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and fire pump specifications. The BOQ for Item 3.1 (Fire Hose Cabinets - FHC) has excluded the landing valve, as detailed in Drawing No. FX-01-01-R0_Fire Fighting System Diagram, resulting in a discrepancy between the BOQ and the approved designs that may affect the system's functionality and adherence to standards. Furthermore, the fire pump specifications do not align with NFPA 14 requirements as outlined in the BOQs. The drawings indicate a Class III Fire Hose Cabinet System, which, according to NFPA 14 Section 7.10.1.1.1, necessitates a minimum flow rate of 500 GPM (1,893 L/min) and a pressure of 6.9 bar for the hydraulically most remote standpipe. However, the currently specified pump capacity of 100 GPM at 6.5 bar is insufficient to meet these criteria. These discrepancies collectively jeopardize the system's compliance and operational effectiveness.UNOPS REPLY:the fire hose cabinet (FHC) design includes the following features:Double Doors:The upper door is designed for use by untrained personnel. It is equipped with a restricted pressure valve calibrated to 4.5 bar, ensuring safe and manageable operation for non-professional persons.The lower door contains a 40 mm angle valve, a 3800 synthetic hose, and a 38 mm nozzle. This section is designated for use by the fire man and connects to the fire department inlet in case of fire pump failure.To ensure compliance with the BOQ, drawings, and specifications, the contractor is required to supply a fire hose cabinet meeting these criteria.Clarification:Dear UNOPS, we would like to bring to your attention that the total capacity of the indoor units for VRF01 in the INDOOR UNITS -VRF -01SCHEDULE, when calculated based on the provided drawings and BOQ for Maran Hospital, amounts to 32.20 kW. However, the required capacity for the VRF01 unit, as specified in both the drawings "CONDENSING UNITS - VRF SCHEDULE"  and BOQ, is 27.7 kW. This discrepancy between the actual and required capacities needs to be addressed to ensure alignment.UNOPS REPLY:The contractor shall supply an outdoor unit with a capacity that fully complies with the total capacity of the connected indoor units, ensuring alignment with the project requirements.

New clarification added: Question:We refer to the Capacity form and previous experience. We intend to apply for LOT 2 only .In this case, is it compulsory to provide Two similar contracts with value of USD 800,000 for each? Or the value and number of contracts shall differ ? In other words, if we provided one similar contract with mentioned value ,a construction of a tourist hotel for private owner  Is it enough?UNOPS reply:Bidders are required to refer and adhere to the evaluation criteria. Submission of one or multiple lots doesnt change the requirement.

New clarification added: Question:Regarding the handling of the medical gases section in both the Maran and Ateq projects, we have noticed that the bed head unit items related to the ICU are missing in the BOQ when compared to the drawings. We kindly request clarification and further information on this matter.UNOPS reply:Please note the bead head units are not included in the BOQ as they will be procured seperately not under this RFQ
