Description
1. General: One Light Jet Fixed Wing Passenger aircraft, to be used throughout the United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) operating areas. The operating area will include, but not be limited to Iraq, Iran, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Jordan. 2. Air transportation services to be performed shall mainly include VIP, passenger transport, 3. Main Operating Base (MOB): Baghdad, Iraq. At MOB, transportation, accommodation and meals shall be UN’s responsibility. 4. General Aircraft Technical Requirements: The aircraft must meet the following criteria. - Turbine powered (Turbofan/jet), multi-engine, using jet A-1 fuel. - Minimum Service Ceiling of 30,000 feet MSL. - Minimum passenger seating capacity of 8. - Aircraft must be capable of flying from Baghdad, Iraq (ORBI) without refuelling in-between to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (OERK) with a minimum of 6 adult passengers (85 kg each) with 15 kgs of luggage (10 kgs checked-in &5 kgs hand luggage) each, plus IFR reserves. - Aircraft must be able to operate from Main Operations Base over 5 sectors (Baghdad - Erbil - Baghdad - Basra - Kuwait - Baghdad) a total distance of 1050 NM - Aircraft must be certified RVSM compliant. - Aircraft should have full lavatory facilities. - Aircraft should be equipped with two GPS, two VHF. - Aircraft should be equipped with HF or Two-way satellite-based communication (text/voice). - Estimated required number of flight hours (not guaranteed) per aircraft per year: 360 hours.
