Provision of Portable Toilets, Showers and Associated Services to UNFICYP

1. The United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) intends to conduct a competitive solicitation exercise, for the provision of portable toilets, showers and associated services to UNFICYP. 2. The Contractor shall perform within forty-eight (48) hours from receipt of the UNFICYP request, the island-wide placement of: a. portable toilets including portable toilets for the disabled, operated either by hand or by foot pump, not requiring a main water supply connection, the full sit-down toilet type, with wash basin, self closing door mechanism, vacant/busy display, a door handle and lock, ventilation holes, non-slip floor, liquid soap dispenser, toilet brush and toilet roll holder. b. portable showers, not requiring a main water supply connection, with water tank capacity of 500lts and waste tank, adjustable water flow showerhead, towel and clothes hooks, non-slip and self-draining floor, self-closing door mechanism, vacant/busy display, door handle and lock. 3. The portable toilets shall be routinely cleaned and re-stocked with supplies, including disinfection soap, toilet paper, paper towels, likewise the portable showers shall be discharged, thoroughly cleaned, resupplied with water and prepared for continuous usage, either two or three times weekly by the Contractor, depending on the Missions requirement. 4. Interested vendors shall have three (3) years' prior experience with similar contracts/projects and be registered and approved by the Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment in the Republic of Cyprus. 5. The Contractor shall perform services on an 'as and when' required basis and the resulting contract shall be for an initial duration of three (3) years with an option to extend at UNFICYP sole option for a maximum of two additional periods of up to one (1) year each (3+1+1 years). The Contract is anticipated to commence in the first-second quarter of 2025. 6. In this regard, UNFICYP would like to identify vendors that would be interested to participate in the competitive solicitation exercise. Qualified vendors are requested to express their interest by submitting the Vendor Response Form of this EOI electronically (through the link provided below) before the closing date above. Women-owned and disabililty-inclusive suppliers are strongly encouraged to express interest. 7. UNFICYP reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding and mere expression of interest does not automatically warrant participation in the competitive bidding exercise. UNFICYP reserves the right to change or cancel any of these requirements at any time during the EOI and/or the solicitation process. 9. The UNGM registration is mandatory for responding to this EOI.
