Description
The United Nations (UN) has a requirement to establish a global long-term agreement(s) for the initial period of 3 years with the option to extend for two additional periods of one year each for the provision of several variations of body-armour (ballistic vests and hard-plates) to serve as personal protective equipment for staff members and meet operational requirements worldwide. The contract shall include but not limited to the following requirements: * Soft-ballistic vests (Pullover Ballistic Vest, Uniform Outer Varrier Ballistic Vest, Concealable Covert Ballistic Vest, all protection level NIJ-IIIA), product variations in male and female versions with varying sizes; * Hard-ballistic plates (protection level NIJ-III and NIJ-IV)comparable, interchangeable, and used in with the body armour vests (multi-curve and single curve hard ballistic plates); * Modular attachable accessories/components for scaled protection with Pullover Ballistic Vests use; Optional: * NIJ (or equivalent as per special requirements below) Protection Level III Kits - pre-configured male and female kits that incorporate Pullover Ballistic Vests with multi-curve and single-curve hard-ballistic plates and modular accessories. * NIJ (or equivalent as per special requirements below) Protection Level IV Kits - pre-configured male and female kits that incorporate Pullover Ballistic Vests with multi-curve and single-curve hard-ballistic plates and modular accessories. The detailed Scope of Requirements (SOR) along with other bidding documents will be sent out to all bidders responding to this Request for Expression of Interest (REOI). Companies that wish to participate in the upcoming tender are requested to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) as per below instructions, and to duly register in the United Nations Global Marketplace (www.ungm.org). Vendors are advised that this EOI does not constitute a solicitation. The UN reserves the right to change or cancel this requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process.
