New clarification added: Dear Bidder Q1 - we have Inquiry about the itm in BOQ is the unit of measurement in lenght meters correct in item no 3.6 Implementation of a protective net,also the quantity of item 70  ?Ans 1 - Yes the unit of measurement is in meters linear meters, the quantity is 70 

New amendment added #2: The purpose of this amendment is:Update the BoQ for the following items : 5.2.1 - Provide a rented site office , housing and accommodation for the Engineer staff as specific Specification , Monthly to change the quantaties to read as 6 Months  5.2.2 - Provide two vehicles for the Engineer staff including operation cost such as , fuel , oil , lubricants, Driver , insurance , and maintenance…Etc. as describe in specification , Monthly to change the quantaties to read as 6 Months Therefore please note the following changes The e-sourcing document tab is amended to add Amendment_002_BOQ-IBB-004All other terms and conditions remain the same. 

New clarification added: Dear BiddersPlease find below clarifications answersQ1.Does the project include two parts simultaneously or at different intervals? and is BOQ For two parts !  Why is the project length inconsistent (2.2 km in drawings vs. 5.4 km in the announcement)?Ans 1 The project includes two parts part 1 from telecommunication to saylat jiblah 2.2 Km rehabilitation of this section completely , Par II is the the rehabilitation of the remaining works not included in phase 1  scope of works within 3.2 Km please refer to the Plan which clearly show these two sections within the whole road from Aluadin Roundabout to saylat jiblah- Please read RFQ and the drawings  Reference RFQ1.1 details provided by employer and 2.2 schedule 2 project specific information (projects’map)Q2.In BOQ (1.1.1) ,The type and extent of debris (e.g., size and type of stones, soil) are not defined.Ans 2 The Item includes all types of wastes regardless of size or type  to be cleaned and transported to the approved landfill , Reference  Specifications 201section for cleaning of pavement,side walks ,and median islands3.In BOQ (1.1.2), should we repeat the cleaning and removing damages each time damages or only for one time.Ans 3 Cleaning includes removing any wastes during implementation till completion of the project .Reference  Specifications 320 and A1-1.1of  CULVERT CLEANING ,location coordinates are shown in the BoQ item description .4.In BOQ (2.2.1) ,what do you mean by Surface Repairs (Type A) or Deep Repairs(Type B) ,also these items below is mentioned in separate item why is exist in this item1-Potholes and Failure Repairs > 25m22-Removal of existing (Asphalt + Base) layers with disposal and hauling of waste material to the approved location. The rate includes Bed preparation by scarifying and compacting.Ans 4 - Please read each item's components carefully since every item is well described in detail  , in addition read the related specifications in the column of technical specification reference for more clarifications  .Reference  Specifications sections  501- to  514  Bituminous Pavement Works  section includes all information of pothole repair  types and repair methods and all other items related to pothole repair surface or deep types.5.In BOQ (3.1.1) : type of soil , the places and cross sections of excavation is not mentionedAns 5 - Please read the drawings where concrete pavement is required to be placed . Reference  Specifications section 709 -cast Iron storm water Cover drawing details part 1- D-5 sheet No.54Q8.In BOQ (5.2.1&5.2.2): the duration given is 15 month whereas in 6 Solicitation  Part 2: Proposed methodology, approach and Implementation plan (3.2) given 6 months.Q8 - An amendment will be published soon to reflect the correct requirment

New clarification added: Dear BiddersQ1 Regarding the RFQ Item No. 3.6 "Diverting Channels" I believe that the item description was not fully written, what is the works that includes the rate?! Ans 1- Please refer to Amendment1_BOQ-IBB-004 - Updated 17 Nov 2024, adding the needed detials to the BoQ '' Note the amedment will shortly appear in the system'' Q2- Could you please provide typical cross section for the diverting channels showing the materials , layers, thicknesses and dimensions?  Could you please provide more details and domensions about the rain water catch cover? The drawings are not clear? Ans 2 - The existing diversion channel only need to replace 50 m of the steel grating cover only no need for any rehabilitation to the chnnel itself , so all bidders shall only submit their prices only for supply and installation of the channel steel cover , please consider the previous clarification deleted and all bidders shall submit for supply and install only 50 m of steel grating cover as per drawings and details
