Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Water Softening System in Kabul, Afghanistan

The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) invites companies to express their interest to participate in the upcoming bidding exercise for the Supply and Installation of a Water Purification System at the UNAMA,Kabul, Compound, Afghanistan. EXTENT OF WORK: 1. Provide design report of the technical specifications of the complete water purification system. 2. Provide labor, materials equipment, installation, testing and commissioning of duplex water softener in line with World Health Organization (WHO) standards for soft water. 3. The system should include Vertical pressure type water softener system complete, with multi grade filter vessel, pressure vessel, softening resin, control valve, brine maker, electronic controller and UV water disinfection system. 4. All equipment and material shall be supplied in compliance with the specifications as intended for a complete and operational system. 5. The system must be skid-mounted with all interconnecting piping complete and flanges. All the process of water softening in the system must be fully automated and control by PLC. 6. The contractor to ensure the system shall be commissioned by a qualified manufacturer’s representative to ensure complete installation for conformance to manufacturer’s standards. 7. The work shall conform in all purposes and intent with the applicable laws in regard to safety, health, and environmental policies, and international standards.
