Description
The Office of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Yemen (hereinafter known as “OSESGY”) and the office of the United Nations Mission to Support the Hudaydah Agreement (hereinafter known as “UNMHA”) intends to enter into an agreement with an Internet Service Provider for the provision of dedicated Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (FTTH-ADSL) Internet Services to UN OSESGY/UNMHA buildings in Sana’a and Aden, for an initial period of two (2) years with the possibility to extend the contract for three (3) additional years (1+1+1), subject to extension of mission mandate, availability of funds and satisfactory performance of the Contractor. Description of Work: The objective is to enter into an agreement with a vendor to provide Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (FTTH-ADSL) internet service over fiber as per the below-listed specifications: 1.2.1 Sana’a Office: • Two (2) FTTH-ADSL Lines of at least one (1) Terabyte (TB) monthly quota each line i.e. Two (2) TB monthly total quota • For each FTTH-ADSL line, minimum download bandwidth will be 100 Mbps and minimum upload bandwidth will be 25 Mbps 1.2.2 Aden Office: • Two (2) FTTH-ADSL Lines of at least one (1) Terabyte (TB) monthly quota each line i.e. Two (2) TB monthly total quota • For each FTTH-ADSL line, minimum download bandwidth will be 100 Mbps and minimum upload bandwidth will be 25 Mbps - The Contractor should deliver the connectivity in Gigabit or Fast Ethernet form to the termination point at each site (Sana’a & Aden) at 99% uptime. - The service will be provided over the existing fiber optic infrastructure terminated at OSESGY/UNMHA offices in Sana’a and Aden. There is one termination point in each location. - The Contractor shall be responsible for providing all the necessary support and equipment (except as otherwise mentioned by the UN) and for making all necessary arrangements to ensure the fulfilment of its obligations under this Contract for its entire duration. - The Contractor will have to mobilize and start provisioning service within a maximum period of two weeks from the effective date of the contract.
