RFQ-2024-46 Eastern and Southern Africa (ESA) Regional Dashboard

The purpose of this RFQ is to select a consultant suitable for the provision of consultancy services to develop the Eastern and Southern Africa (ESA) dashboard.
The overall objective of this consultancy is to develop the ESA regional dashboard to demonstrate the regionals performance towards the global strategy’s 10 result areas and provide appropriate visualisations including interactive maps for planning, monitoring and use of key epidemic indicators. This process will include using pre- populated dataset from multiple source eg survey and modelling estimates data, AIDSInfo.unaids.org, validated and cleaned programme data, PHIAs, IBBS, MICS, population censuses, HIV estimates, key population (KP) size estimates and other data from UN co-sponsors.
a. The consultant will be expected to review the existing dataset and create a consolidated dataset/database.
b. Set up the regional dashboard on PowerBi using the consolidated dataset and produce visualisations including interactive maps for each of the strategy’s 10 result areas.
c. Finalise the dashboard and incorporate inputs from validation process with stakeholders
d. Develop a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that outlines how to conduct annual updates and adding new indicators and visualisations.
The work is expected to be conducted within a period of 20 working days between October to November 2024. The offer must be received for the completion of all deliverables below.
