Joint RFP by IFAD-CTA-AFD - study on warehouse receipt systems (WRS) in 9 African countries
The Agence Française de Développement (AFD), the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the Technical Center for Agriculture and Rural Cooperation ACP-EU (CTA) are calling for proposals for a study on appropriate warehousing and collateral management systems to promote access to finance through warehouse receipt finance (and other forms of asset-based finance) in favour of smallholder farmers in sub-Saharan Africa and Madagascar.
Bidders are invited to submit proposals for one or more of the following blocks of countries:
Block 1: Burkina Faso, Niger, Senegal
Block 2: Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Madagascar
Block 3: Cameroon, Mozambique, Uganda
The total budget for this study is capped at 50 000 Euros per Block. Separate contracts will be signed with AFD, IFAD and CTA based on the country profiles financed by each institution.

Administrative information, technical proposal and financial proposal need to be sent in three separate envelopes, marked accordingly.
Responses to this call for proposals need to be received by CTA no later than Wednesday 27 November 15:00 CET, as further detailed in paragraph 8 of ANNEX 2.
