Description

The UNDP wishes to hire a qualified travel agent to provide air travel services in Seychelles for their officials, consultants, sponsored officials, study tour travelers and their dependents for an initial period of one (1) year. This Agreement may be renewed, at the sole option of UNDP, on the same terms and conditions, for two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each, by means of a written notification of such renewal by the UNDP to the Travel Agency and upon satisfactory evaluation of Annual Performance of the services provided.

The yearly total volume of travel expenses is estimated to be around US Dollars 50K for international travel and travel to other island in Seychelles. Although there is no expected travel budget, ticketing volume in the years to come is expected to remain at the comparatively similar levels.

Contract with qualified Travel Agent would cover the provision of travel management and related services hereafter referred to as “Travel Services”. Air Travel Services shall include, but not limited to: airline ticketing and related services (airport transfer, hotel reservations, visa services, travel insurance, car rental arrangements) for travel plans and preparation of suitable itineraries (including alternative routings, departures and arrivals) at the lowest cost for Staff Members and/or their dependents (for purpose of official and non-official travels) and consultants, government officials and participants attending meetings or on official business for the UNDP. The major destination/route for traveling can be found at annex V. Travel services also includes facilitating the arrangement of conferences, meetings, seminars and training workshops.

AN AMENDMENT TO REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) HAS BEEN MADE TO EXTEND THE DEADLINE FOR ANOTHER 2 WEEKS UNTIL FRIDAY 15 NOVEMBER 2013.

THE PREVIOUS RFP LAUNCHED ON 15 APRIL 2013 HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

UNDP RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT OR REJECT ANY PROPOSAL.
