Service description:
The in-Court production of an French verbatim real-time transcript of the Court-proceedings, made available for viewing to all Judges, parties and participants, using advanced machine shorthand and/or remote speech recognition systems and software, with a minimum speed of 200 words per minute, with the highest degree of accuracy using industry standards.
After adjournment of the proceedings, the delivery to in-house designated Court-Staff, within the set standard of two hours, of the fully scoped (checked and verified against audiovisual recordings made available by the Court) and corrected finalized transcript, using either the network or electronic storage media.
Production of real-time transcript of proceedings requires on-site presence and tested compatibility of vendor’s equipment with the Court’s infrastructure.
Production of other than real-time transcripts does not require on-site presence.
The Court will provide and support the technical and operational infrastructure on the Court’s side. When using advanced machine shorthand to produce; operating software can be made available upon request, external or company equipment and/or software is acceptable under the condition that such equipment and software used is compatible with the Courts’ infrastructure and its operational requirements.
Estimates of the number of court days to be required from the vendor will be provided by the Court closer to the date.
A high level of flexibility towards operational hours is required from the vendor, to ensure the delivery of the final product within the deadlines set, under all possible circumstances. Vendor working days will be subject to ad-hoc cancellations, due to changing judicial activities or priorities.
In light of the highly sensitive material which will be accessible to the vendor, guarantees on the personnel vetting, as well as implementation of information security measures have to be provided.
