Procurement of Stereo Satellite Imagery

The Procurement and Administrative Services Team of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) invites both local and international consulting firms to apply for eligibility and to bid for the subcontract on the  “Procurement of Stereo Satellite Imagery” for the project “Resilience Capacity Building for Cities and Municipalities to Reduce Disaster Risks from Climate Change and Natural Hazards, Phase 1 (Project ReBUILD)”.

 The Project aims to assess the disaster vulnerabilities of the cities and municipalities surrounding the Cagayan River Basin (Region 2 and Cordillera Administrative Region or CAR) and the Jalaur River Basin (Region 6), Philippines, to geological, meteorological and meteorologically-induced hazards due to climate change. In order to assess climate change/disaster risk vulnerabilities, the project requires the use of stereo satellite imagery.

For interested parties, Bid Documents may be secured upon payment of a non-refundable amount of US$ 25, or its Philippine Peso equivalent, for the entire set of documents from the following address:

Payments may be made in the form of cash or cheque by personal delivery, or bank transfer.  Instructions for bank transfer may be obtained by sending an email to procurement.ph@undp.org or registry.ph@undp.org.

The abovementioned Bid Documents will be released to all interested participants starting 14 October 2013 to 30 October 2013 only.   The Bid Documents shall contain all instructions on the rules, procedures, dates and other schedules for the pre-bid conference and opening of bid envelopes, as well as further details on the scope of services required.

UNDP reserves the right to reject any or all the bids, waive any defect or informality therein, accept the bid and award the contract to the most advantageous offer to the UNDP, for and in behalf of the project.  UNDP assumes no responsibility to compensate or indemnify the bidder for any expense or loss that may be incurred for the preparation of bids, nor does it guarantee that an award will be made.
