ISO 9001:2015 Recertification and Surveillance Audits and related training for UNGSC Staff in Brindisi (Italy)

The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) located in Brindisi ( Italy) is seeking a qualified company to carry out the following services on an “as and when required basis” on behalf of its Supply Chain Service: 1. ISO9001:2015 recertification and surveillance audits of its operations. 2. Live online and interactive refresh Training Courses on Introduction to ISO 9001 Controls and their applicability. 3. Live online and interactive ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Training Course. The UNGSC has been ISO 9001 certified since 2007 by a third-party company through regular annual assessments. The scope of the last certification was based on the following: Scope of Supply Chain Service for ISO 9001:2015 certification The activities of the Supply Chain Service (SCS) of the United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) include planning, acquisitions, receipt, inspection, central warehousing, testing, maintenance, repair, issuance, delivery, shipping, write-off and disposal of equipment entrusted to the UNGSC. The Supply Chain Service also supports UN Field Missions during start-up, sustainment, and liquidation phases, including planning, acquisition, sourcing (clearing house, intermission transfers), provision of comprehensive solutions and assistance in engineering and environmental design, mission support teams, and training activities. At present, the Supply Chain Service is composed of the Office of the Chief, two (2) main sections Planning and Sourcing Support Section and the Delivery and Return Section) and ten (10) sub-units. The service shall cover the entire ISO 9001:2015 certification cycle and encompass annual onsite audits: • A recertification audit for 2025; • Surveillance audit for 2026; and, • Surveillance audit for 2027. The services shall be provided by a company authorized to issue ISO 9001 Quality Management Certificate in European Union countries by an internationally accredited body (e.g., International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) or a comparable certification as given that the UNGSC is located in Brindisi, Italy. The UNGSC will establish a contract for an agreed period of three (3) years. The UNGSC will provide the complete technical requirements and administrative instructions with a solicitation document to be issued later after the closing date for this EOI.
