Description
1. Background: The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) intends to support local law enforcement officials in Central America and the Caribbean in their efforts to curb the proliferation and dismantle organized criminal networks that engage in migrants smuggling, trafficking in persons and other forms of organized crime through the development capacity and the provision of equipment in support of their operations. 2. Objective: Supply and Delivery of Drones including related Accessories and Software. The requirement may include the following goods and services: A. Thermal Drone, weight ~900g; inclusive of accessories and camera and imaging system and software for Image Processing and Photogrammetric analys and Multispectral Analysis Estimated quantity: 3 units B. Industrial Grade Compact Multirotor Drone; 4 rotors, inclusive of accessories. Estimated quantity: 12 units C. Small Lightweight Multirotor Drone; 4 rotors, inclusive of accessories. Estimated quantity: 12 units. D. Software for Image Processing and Photogrammetric analys and Multispectral Analysis compatible with items B. and C. above. Estimated quantity: 8 units each model type. The requirement may include delivery to multiple final destinations across the Caribbean and Central America. Deliveries will be required on the basis of DAP – Final Destination (INCOTERMS 2020). Bidders should note that, as part of the evaluation of offers, bidders may be required to demonstrate the following: - Compliance with the technical specifications / requirements of the solicitation documents; - Be an authorized distributor or manufacturer of the offered equipment; - Comply with warranty requirements; - Prior Experience in the supply and delivery of the offered equipment. - Compliance with the required delivery terms; It is important to mention that a full description of the requirements and specifications will be found within the invitation to bid document (ITB). This document will include complete instructions for the submission of bids, technical specifications and all technical documents to fully demonstrate the scope of the requirement and the delivery of the items to be provided. Bidders should note that this document is not an invitation to bid (ITB) and therefore no offer is expected at this stage. The purpose of this document is to identify companies that would be interested in participating in the tender when it is issued and if they are invited to the tender handled by UNODC. UNODC reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI and / or application process. Therefore, submitting a response to this Request for Expression of Interest (REOI) does not automatically guarantee that your company will receive the invitation to participate in the invitation to bid (ITB). The ITB and the contract (if awarded) will be issued in accordance with UN regulations and rules.
