The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) is seeking a single-source firm that could provide on-line, cost-effective and timely service of verification of academic background and employment records, as well as character references. As UNESCAP attracts candidates from some 193 countries, such verifications must be conducted internationally. On behalf of UNESCAP, the selected firm will be expected to provide a full background verification report assuring integrity of all information included in the candidate’s application. The report will focus on examining the veracity and truthfulness of the information provided, as well as current and previous supervisors’ and referees’ views on suitability for the position.
