Award of Contract for Provision of Fare Audit Services to RSCE, Uganda

1.1 The United Nations Global Procurement Support Section in Entebbe (GPSS) on behalf of the United Nations Regional Service Centre Entebbe (UN RSCE) has a long-term requirement to engage a reliable and reputable Air Travel Audit Company to provide services for periodic fare audit of RSCE’s travel bookings to ensure cost effectiveness. 1.2 Proposers are expected to measure the effectiveness of the RSCE’s travel agencies in finding and offering the lowest available airfare as specified by the UN’s travel policy under ST/AI/2013/3 at the time of booking and advise the RSCE when a lower fare is available to enable the travel agency to reissue at the lower fare. The selected Vendor is expected to provide daily access to all travel reservations through a web-based service. 1.3 In this regard, the United Nations (UN) is requesting expressions of interest from suitably qualified vendors to undertake the provision of the Fare Audit Services, which may lead to the issuance of a Systems Contract. Detailed Specifications will be provided in a separate Bid Document to be issued in due course.
