New clarification added: Question 1: Will UNOPS award a single bidder for both locations, or will it award two different bidders for each location?UNOPS Answer: The two assignments will be awarded to one bidder. This is reflected in “Consultant_services_ RFP section Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ,Ⅴ” - Section Ⅱ: Evaluation Method and Criteria, paragraph#1 “Formal and eligibility criteria”-Page 2. Please refer to Documents tab.Question 2: Regarding the insurance requirements, is the bidder requested to have (Professional Indemnity, Public Liability Insurance, Workers Compensation) for each location, or can each type of insurance cover both sites?UNOPS Answer: The insurance requirements, indicated in Consultant_services_ RFP section Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ,Ⅴ: Section Ⅴ: Requirements, Schedule 3: Requirements of the Employer, Section # 3.9: “Insurance requirements” shall be applicable for each site separately, meaning that the CF shall put in place separate insurance policies for each site.Question 3: Is it possible to prepare performance security for each site separately?UNOPS Answer: The performance security should be one guarantee for all contract sections/deliverables.Question 4: Is the consultant responsible for covering fees associated with various aspects such as obtaining permits from the Order of Engineers, Technical Control Office, Municipality, etc....?UNOPS Answer: As per the TOR - Section #3: Scope of services/ Paragraph#3.1General considerations_Article 13, taking into consideration the applicable pertinent laws (e.g. Lebanese Construction Law 646) in relation to the Lebanese Armed Forces facilities. New clarification added: Clarifications:- Can you please provide us with information about the gathering and the program.- Kindly provide us with a focal person for each location.UNOPS Answer: UNOPS representatives will be available on each site at the date & time mentioned in the Particulars tab.Please refer to the Particulars tab for both sites locations. Kindly note that today is the deadline for submitting the participants names for both site visits:Bidders shall notify UNOPS latest by Monday 27-05-2024 as to whether or not they intend to participate in the Location inspection and shall give the details of their representatives who will attend the visits for both locations.
