Amendment I - Invitation to Bid for the Emergency Stabilization and Consolidation of heritage buildings at the Ancient City of Aleppo in Syria.
The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization invited bidders to submit a bid for the provision of Emergency Stabilization and Consolidation of heritage buildings at the Ancient City of Aleppo in Syria through capacity building namely the main entrance of the Hall of Thrones, some the Western elevation and damaged walls of Dar Ghazala and the main façade of the Khan al-Jumruk, in accordance with the present solicitation document.

Your bid must be submitted electronically SIGNED as per the clause 17. “Submission and Marking of Bids” no later than April 25, 2024, at 18:00 Beirut Time.
This letter is not to be construed in any way as an offer of contract. Your bid could, however, form the basis for a contract between your company and UNESCO.

Besides, we wish to inform all bidders that the solicitation document (ITB) has been amended through which an additional item has been added to the BOQ aiming to repair the lifting crane to transport the materials from the lower level of the hill to the area beside the Ottoman Barrack.
Therefore, all bidders shall carefully review and use the amended Bill of Quantities (BoQ) provided as an Excel sheet within the attachments available on the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM).
