New clarification added: Question 7: Kindly confirm how much previous experience you require us to provide as evidence for each lot. Answer: The bidder must provide experience in successfully delivering (2) similar projects/ contracts during the last seven (7) years prior to bid opening. Similar projects as in: Two projects/contracts for delivering heavy equipment.

New clarification added: Question 6: Thanks for the deadline extension for a period of one week however due to the complexity and with the upcoming Easter Bank Holiday, we would ideally require an extension of two weeks until 9th April. This should allow suppliers to provide with enough information to provide a fully complaint, competitive offer. Answer: We believe that one week is enough for bidders to provide competitive bids and the project is operating under emergency so we can't afford further delay.

New clarification added: Dear Bidders,Please find below the answers for your inquires :Question 1: Can you please provide the following:1. Waste transfer station trailer trucks- Please Specify the Capacity in m3.2. Waste landfill wheel loader-.Please Specify the Capacity in m3.3 Waste compactor trucks-.Please Specify the Capacity in m3.Answer: Please refer to the docuemnt named: RFQ-2024-51048 Section_II_Schedule of Requirements.docx. All the capacities are mentioned there in m3.Question 2: We would kindly request an extension of the tender submission deadline for "Supply and delivery of Waste Equipment for multiple cities in Yemen - YUSIEP AF Reference: RFQ/2024/51048" for Two Weeks, PLEASE. The current deadline date at 26th March 2024 , not exceeding two weeks, is too short to engage with multiple suppliers and negotiate favorable terms for the project to submit a competitive bid. Answser: Due to the urgency of this project and implementation, we are able to further extend for addiotional one week. All bidders will shortly receive a notification with the new submission deadline.Question 3: Can you accept the previous experience of the manufacturer in last 10 years Similar as in two projects/contracts for delivering heavy equipment.?Answer: In case the company has a Joint Venture agreement with the manufacturer, then the manufacturer's experience is accepted. In case there is no Joint Venture between the supplying company and the manufaturer, the company must have the required experience.Question 4: Due to the quantities required, we please request an extension of the closing date.Answer: We are able to further extend for addiotional one week. All bidders will shortly receive a notification with the new submission deadline.Question 5: Please send us the sample photoes for the waste Equipment of each line item.. Again we erquest you to extend the bid closing date for atleast a week inorder to you a competitive BID OFFER.Answer: Regarding the extension, we are able to further extend for addiotional one week. All bidders will shortly receive a notification with the new submission deadline. As for provising pictures, UNOPS is not able to provide this and all bidders must provide the requirements as per the specifications stipulated in the solicitation documents.
