The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON), on behalf of Ecosystems Division, United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), invites qualified interested firms to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming solicitation for provision of technical assistance on Enterprise Incubation Programme for UNEP on a global scale. United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), requires the services of an institution to to develop Curricula deliver and Manage the Training components. The overall objective of this requirement is to establish and strengthen a sustained regional Community of Practice (CoP) in Southern Africa, building on the 2008 Lusaka Agreement and aligning with concurrent work in other regions and the development of the Africa Clean Air Programme led by the African Union Commission (AUC). The service provider will undertake the following tasks and responsibilities 1. Conduct a training needs assessment and work plan validation. 2. Map all existing air quality monitoring and management curricula and training manuals in Southern Africa. 3. Develop a tailored curriculum based on the Needs Assessment to expand institutional knowledge and capacity within the Southern Africa Community of Practice (CoP). 4. Conduct Capacity building training workshops, web based and in-person training workshops. 5. Develop an evaluation report at the end of the trainins.
