This RFP refers to procurement of Consultancy Services for the of Provision of Design and Technical Consultancy services for modernization / renovation of up to 6 SES laboratories throughout Uzbekistan (Lot 1 & Lot 2***).

New clarification added: Q7: Shall we provide the amount in Excel Document per facility in the lot or the total Lot amount for all facilities? A7: Offeror shall complete and submit RFP/2024/50316: Consultancy services_Section VI_Returnable Form_Schedule 4.1a and Schedule 4 for Lot 1 covering 5 facilities and/or Lot 2 covering 1 facility.

New clarification added: Q6: With reference to Technical Criteria, Part 1: Offeror's Capacity & Expertise, clause 1.2: Offeror has relevant specialized knowledge and experience on delivering similar Design Services and Technical Consultancy services during the last five (5) years in Uzbekistan. Will UNOPS allow 3 or more similar projects completed in any other country? A6: Offeror will not obtain points under this technical criteria for projects implemented in any other countries.

New clarification added: Q5: Is it mandatory for Offeror to have the licenses and registration certificates issued by the relevant authorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan? A5: As per RFP requirements, an Offeror (a stand-alone legally incorporated entity or a leading partner of Joint Venture/Consortium/Association of two or more legally incorporated entities) has a valid license to operate in the Republic of Uzbekistan and has registration certificates under the category/grade Technical surveys of buildings and structures, Design Consultancy Services and Technical Consultancy Services from the relevant body governing and regulating the engineering, consulting and/or construction industry in Uzbekistan. The requirement was included in order to meet local legislation and norms on obtaining expertise of detailed designs and permission for further construction activities according to which a supplier for provision of technical surveys of buildings and structures, Design Consultancy Services, Technical Supervision Services must be licenced by the relevant authorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan for construction of buildings & facilities.

New clarification added: Q4: What currency of the proposal shall be offered by Offeror? Any Bid security is required? A4: As per RFP particulars, proposal shall be submitted only in USD. Contract with a successful offeror will be concluded by Head Quarter Office of UNOPS in Copenhagen, Denmark. Payment will be transferred from the UNOPS's bank account in USA. Both details shall be reflected in future contract. No Bid Security is required.

A1: Information (supplier's name, contract value and award date) will be published for contracts awarded for Lot 2 and Lot 3 of the finalized RFP/2023/48007 will be available at UNGM platform by the end of this week.
