PROVISION OF LEVEL III HOSPITAL SERVICES FOR UNAMI IN Erbil, IRAQ FOR THE INITIAL PERIOD OF 3 YEARS WITH AN OPTION FOR EXTENSION OF ADDITIONAL 2 YEARS (1+1)

The United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) has a requirement for the provision of Level III health services in Erbil city/ Iraq. This SOW seeks to consolidate hospital service requirements for UNAMI and adopt a unified approach that will be more efficient and economical. “Health Services” refer to the inpatient, outpatient, and rehabilitation health services to be rendered to referred or medically evacuated critically injured and sick personnel, and shall be provided consistently by one or more hospitals, herein referred to as “Hospital”. Services shall be provided on an “as-and-when-required” basis for Troop and Police Contributing Countries (TCC and PCC) The initial term of the contract shall be for two (3) years with an option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods (3+1+1) subject to the extension of UNAMI mandate, satisfactory performance of the Hospital, availability of funds and continued requirement of such services. For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly, accordingly would issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI’s requirement. In addition, the interested Companies will be requested to complete a UNGM Registration at level Basic/1 or above. Please note on the following: • This EOI is not an invitation to submit a bid/proposal. • UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for RFP document. • UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline.
