United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) intends to solicit bids for Provision of services for maintenance, repair, modification and new installations of HVAC / air conditioning systems including reefer containers and other miscellaneous electrical works at the UNAMI Erbil regional office (ERO) Erbil, Iraq, for the initial period of one (1) year with an option of extension additional four (4) years, one (1) year at a time under the same terms and conditions subject to satisfactory performance, availability of funds and continuation of UNAMI mandate. 1.1 The contract will be awarded to the proposal that clearly demonstrates through a written bid a high degree of experience, ability, competency and best-practice in these services and capability to secure access and execute the services for UNAMI Regional Office in Erbil, Iraq. 1.2 The awarded contractor shall provide materials, labour and equipment in the required services to successfully deliver the requirement as outlined in the scope of works. Providing the services shall include all required manpower, delivery equipement/accessories, transportation and necessary incidentals to ensure proper unloading of requested materials at UNAMI Regional Office in Erbil, Iraq. 2.0 The solicitation will be based on detailed Statement of Works (SOW), Bill of Quantities (BOQ), UN General Conditions of Contracts and other related documents which will be provided by UNAMI to all companies who respond to this EOI and qualify for this tender. 3.0 The requirements will include, but not limited to the following: All necessary tools, Vechiles, equipment, materials, personnel, supervision and other items necessary to perform the services. * Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, and Ventilation (HVAC) include Reefer Units (Deep freezers and Coolers). * Monitor/repair electrical system. 4.0 For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly, accordingly would issue an Request for Proposal (RFP) to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI's requirement. 5.0 In addition, the interested companies (New Vendors Only) are requested to complete their registration at Basic on the United Nations Global Marketplace (www.ungm.org). 6.0 Please note on the following: a) This EOI is not an invitation for submission of a bid/proposal. b) UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for tender document. c) UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline
