New clarification added: Question:With reference to subject bid as you mentioned that AEDB registration is must so can we apply in JV with AEDB registered company. Please also mention complete process and requirements so that companies can bid timely. Secondly in solar projects all items are imported and in solar projects client provide the advance payment to supplier for smooth and timely completion as its not a civil work project. Its a short term project but in bid the advance payment is written N/A. Could you please clear both our questions.Answer: JV is not allowed. UNOPS do not make advance payments for these projects however, the contractor can submit monthly invoices for works no less then 20% of the contract amount.
