Audits of projects supported by UNOCHA under the Emergency Response Fund
The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to provide the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) with the latest market knowledge and information with respect to the capacity of audit firms to conduct audit services of local Emergency Response Fund (ERF) projects supported by UNOCHA and which are located in different parts of the world.
The overall objective of the audit review is to provide UNOCHA with reasonable assurance that its resources are being managed in accordance with the ERF guidance and various clauses of the specific funding agreement.
The information received will be used to obtain a further understanding of the market and to determine whether there are companies that would be able to provide auditing services in all of the countries where OCHA ERF projects are being implemented.
This may eventually lead to the launch of an open competitive tender.
The geographical coverage for currently active OCHA ERF projects is as follows:
Indonesia, DR Congo, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, Israel, Occupied Palestinian Territories, Myanmar, Haiti, Kenya, Colombia, Afghanistan, Yemen, Pakistan, Somalia, Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq and Syria.
UNOG invites potential suppliers to submit their responses in a duly signed letter specifying the following:
1) Which of the above listed countries would your company be interested/able to cover.
2) Has your company previously worked in those countries?
3) Provide a brief description of the company’s institutional structure and organization including its size, registered office, location, resources, field of expertise and years of experience.
4) Payment structure: in the event of a future request for submission of proposals, would your company be able to provide an all-inclusive fee (including travel, accommodation, communication expenses, etc) for each country and/or project to be audited?
5) Complete contact details of focal person/s for further correspondence and clarifications, including name, position, email address/es and phone numbers.
Please note that this RFI does not constitute a solicitation. It does not entail any commitment on the part of UNOG, either financial or otherwise.
UNOG reserves the right to accept or reject any or all RFI without incurring any obligation to inform the affected applicant/s of the grounds.
