New clarification added: Since it concerns 61 sites and we have no influence on the readiness of the sites or the timeline of the distribution of the goods to the sites, we would like to know if it is possible to have the acceptance/payment done upon arrival of all the goods in Lomé, against an engagement letter from our side in which we confirm that we will perform all requested services on the final sites once the goods are there?AnswerDear BiddersThe incoterm used is CPT, Lomé. The cost of installation, commissioning of equipment and user training will only be indicated for information purposes in Form C. The partner will decide later on about the execution of these services.

New clarification added: Please send clarifications on the below:Lot 1 - Electric delivery beds:- Question 1: I noticed that the following was removed in the amendment 'Stainless steel accessory rails', 'Chrome plated handles' and 'Stainless steel trash can'. Can you please confirm that these three accessories don't have to be included anymore?- Question 2: The requirements now state 'Materials: ABS plastic-coated bed frame'. If we offer an ABS covered sub-frame, then is this considered compliant according to the requirements?Answer Dear Bidders1. This is a mistake. The specifications will be corrected. 2. As mentioned in the technical specifications, it is ABS plastic coated bed frame that is required.

New clarification added: Please note that usually, the mattress is the standard configuration for the delivery bed/table and it will supplied along with the Electric delivery beds and Mechanical delivery tables. But in the Form C: Price Schedule Form, the price of mattresses is listed separately alongside each item in each lot. Do you want the mattress as additional accessories for the tendered items? Please confirm. Answer The mattress is required as part of the bed standard configuration. This item is listed separately in order to get the price information in case of mattress replacement later on during the lifespan of the bed .

New clarification added: Please explain what the Ordering Party understands by the term "region" in the following sentence: the bidder or producer of the medical device must have a representative or partner in the country or at the region for after sales services and preventive maintenance services.Answer : The term '' region '' refers to the area of West Africa or to Togo's neighboring countries.

New clarification added: Regarding the requirement to have a local representative: will it be accepted if the Bidder presents evidence of cooperation with a company located in Ghana, but this company has engineers and experience in installing medical equipment in TOGO and provides on-site after-sales services there?Answer : Yes it is acceptable. As the criteria mentionned, the bidder or producer of the medical device must have representative or partner in the country or at the region for after sales services and preventive maintenance services.
