- All bidders are STRONGLY encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting.

New clarification added: Question 5: Please note that the productivity and height of both Lots are the same while the No of Solar panels in lot 2 is less than Lot 1 which means the pumps will not operate in lot 2 .please clarify this issue?Clarification: Please note that all systems fit with the expected pumps' sizes, please stick with the quantities listed in the tender document.Question 6: We ask you kindly please to extend the submission period by two weeks, this is because the project is large and needs preparation for a longer period.Clarification: Due to the urgency of the project, it is not possible to extend the submission deadline.Regards,UNOPS Yemen.

New clarification added: Dear Bidders,Please find the clarifications below:Question 2: The electrical and mechanical specifications include the pump and motor specifications for item 2-1, both types of submersible pump and motor (three-phase, single-phase).However, in the Bill of Quantities (BOQ), the submersible pump is mentioned in Clause 3, but there is no mention of the motor in any lot or well. Why?Clarification: Please note that the submersible pumps must be equiped with the motor. The cost to be included in the same item.Question 3: Please clarify the following:Are motors already present in all wells? Clarification: No, motors to be supplied with the pumps, with the same specfication mentioned in the tender documents.If not, should the motor capacity be estimated based on the submersible pump and priced and its value added to the value of the submersible pump? Clarification: Yes, the cost of the BOQ item included the cost of the motor.Question 4: Does Datalogger work with internet using gprs(GSM)? Or with SD datalogger?Clarification: The inverter should have the capability for data logging and cab be extracted to external source either by internet or sim card or any onother means.
