UN BUSINESS SEMINAR IN ENTEBBE on 03rd November 2023

Seize the unique opportunity to meet and interact with the UN heads of procurement from the UN Headquarters, Field Missions, Regional Commissions and Offices away from the Headquarters. The UN Secretariat Procurement Division is conducting its annual Chief Procurement Officers conference in Entebbe and as a part of that Conference, Global Procurement Support Section (GPSS) in Entebbe is organizing a one-half-day UN Business Seminar in Entebbe Support Base (near Entebbe old airport) on Friday, 03rd November 2023. The UN Business Seminar to which all interested entities are encouraged to participate will provide information on the UN Secretariat's existing business opportunities and provide an interactive opportunity for the Business Community and the Chief Procurement Officers of various UN Missions, Regional Commissions and Offices away from the Headquarters. For this UN Business Seminar, we seek vendors who are in business for more than five years and operate in any of the following categories, but not limited to: Facilities Management and Infrastructure including various construction materials, Engineering Design and Construction, Energy, Security Services, Security Systems and equipment, Horizontal Infrastructure, Information and Communications Technology, Freight Forwarding and third-party logistics, Travel Management Services, Conference and office support services, Office Equipment and Supplies, Solid waste management, Water and wastewater management. Interested vendors are invited to express their interest in attending the UN Business Seminar. GPSS requests that vendors complete the registration form for participation in the UN Business Seminar by close of business on Monday, 16 October 2023. Due to the limited seating capacity, we would like to offer in-person meeting attendance on first-come-first served basis. With a view to allow maximum participation from the interested business community, there will be an option to attend the UN Business Seminar virtually. Vendors with the following attributes are strongly encouraged to participate: Disability-inclusive supplier, Women-owned business.
