Description
The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) seeks an appropriately qualified supplier to establish a Global System Contract for the provision of IoT devices and related accessories / electronic measurement equipment to be delivered FCA Nearest Port of Exit (INCOTERMS 2010). The Global Systems Contract will allow UN Entities to issue Purchase Orders (POs) on an “as and when required basis” during the period of the contract. It should be noted that UN cannot guarantee any minimum quantities for supply. A freight Purchase Order to the Mission/Office final destination will be issued separately from the Goods’ Order, under a different contractual agreement. Below is the list of the equipment to be supplied under the resulting System Contract: • Remote IoT Gateway • Edge IoT • LoRa gateway outdoor • LoRa gateway indoor • Remote IoT security appliance • Field tester device The supplied equipment must be appropriate for use in critical harsh environmental conditions, and suitable for different climate zones (e.g., desert, tropical country, mountain sites, high salinity, etc.) in which there are several variations of the relative natural forces (e.g., temperature, humidity, wind, etc.). The equipment offered shall comply with international codes, rules, regulations, ordinances standards, including, but not limited to the following: • IEC International Electrotechnical Commission • IEEE Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers • EN European Standards • ISO International Organization for Standardization • ASTM American Society for Testing and Materials • DIN Deutsches Institut fuer Normung • or any other international standard granting the same performance level, as applicable and as specified by the Bidder. The resulting contract will be established for an initial period of one (1) year, with the UNGSC's sole option to extend the term of the contract for four (4) additional periods of one (1) year each (1+1+1+1+1). Interested and qualified suppliers shall have the necessary facilities and expertise to safely store and manage a minimum number of spare items to ensure that all orders can be provided to the UN promptly upon request. The supplier will ensure that the critical stock is replenished as needed to ensure the availability of the items at all times by providing ‘managed inventory services’ throughout the contract duration. Full technical requirements and administrative instructions will be provided with a solicitation document to be issued at a later stage after the closing date for this EOI. ***IMPORTANT NOTE: The tender documents will be sent via e-tendering platform only to the email address(-es) registered in companies’ UNGM account.
