Provision of Ready-mix concrete to Kinshasa, D.R. Congo

1.The United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) requires the services of a qualified vendor for the periodic supply of Ready-Mix Concrete (C-25 Grade) to be used for various projects in Kinshasa, DR Congo. 2.Contractor is responsible to produce, load, transport (by concrete transit mixer trucks) and unloading (Directly from the concrete transit mixer trucks on the works requirement) of the ready-mix concrete of grade C-25 at the Site. 25 N/mm2 is the required characteristic compressive strength of ready-mix concrete at 28 days which will be tested by 150 mm. size cubes. Only mixed concrete supplied by ready-mixed concrete batching plant shall be accepted. 3.The rate for this item includes mobilization and demobilization costs, preliminary mix design and test cubes, labor, operators, materials, plants, and equipment necessary to mix, loading, transport, unloading, laboratory and field concrete sampling and testing, optional laboratory concrete testing and all insurances cost related to the job. 4.Minimum capacity of concrete transit mixer shall be 5 m3.
