Global Custody services

IN ENGLISH The United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) would like to receive expressions of interest from financial institutions, for an Invitation to Bid (ITB) that it intends to launch for the provision of Global Custodian bank service, or Global Custody service for the International Civil Servants Mutual Associations (ICSMA). ICSMA, founded in 1958, is a non-profit fund exclusive to the United Nations at Geneva and Specialized Agencies, whose objectives are the promotion of mutual assistance among staff members of the United Nations Office at Geneva and other organizations of the United Nations Common System and the facilitation of the settlement of the said staff members and their family. ICSMA is comprised of two entities, La Mutuelle and the Provident and Insurance Group of International Officials (GPAFI). The required services aim to enable all negotiable securities, financial instruments and cash and cash equivalents, managed by ICSMA and by third parties, to be pooled within a single institution (global custodian bank). They also include securities administration, accounting, portfolios and performance analysis, monitoring of security transactions, recovery of withholding tax, issuing of various reports related to the investments and to the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors. In the event of a difference in meaning between the two languages, English prevails. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ EN FRANCAIS L’Office des Nations Unies à Genève (ONUG) souhaite recevoir des manifestations d’intérêt pour un appel d’offre (ITB) qu'il a l'intention de lancer concernant la fourniture de services de banque dépositaire pour l’Association des Mutuelles des Fonctionnaires internationaux de l’Office des Nations Unies et Agences Spécialisées (AMFI). L’AMFI est un fonds sans but lucratif, créé en 1958 afin de favoriser l'entraide entre les fonctionnaires de l'Office des Nations Unies à Genève (ONUG) et ceux d'autres organisations du système des Nations Unies. L’AMFI est composée de deux entités, à savoir La Mutuelle et le Groupement de Prévoyance et d’Assurance des Fonctionnaires Internationaux (GPAFI). Les services requis visent à permettre de regrouper tous les titres négociables, instruments financiers et liquidités, gérés par l’AMFI et par des tiers, auprès d’un seul établissement. Ils incluent également l’administration des titres, la comptabilité, l’analyse des portefeuilles et de leur performance, le suivi des opérations sur titres, la récupération de l’impôt anticipé, l’émission de divers rapports relatifs aux investissements et aux critères Environnementaux, Sociaux et de Gouvernance (ESG).
