Provision of Hazardous Waste Removal Services UNHQ

The UN is seeking a qualified company to provide hazardous waste removal and disposal services for the United Nations Headquarters, and other United Nations owned and leased buildings. The services shall be delivered in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and rules. The contract duration for the provision of these services shall be for an initial period of three (3) years, and may be renewed for two (2) one-year periods, at the sole option of the United Nations, based on the satisfactory performance from the Contractor and the availability of funds. The general the hazardous wastes shall include, but will not be limited to: (i) Chemical Waste such as empty ink cans and drums, fountain solution, ink containers, etc. (ii) Spent lamps and lamp fragments containing mercury (iii) Waste Oil such as compressor oil, turbine oil (iv)Garden shop waste such as pesticides, fertilizers, etc. (v) Other hazardous waste, which may or may not be specified hereunder
