Description
The United Nations Support Office for AMISOM (UNSOA) requires contractual services for provision of camp management and related training services in support of African Union Mission in Somaila (AMISOM) Troop Contributing Countries. Training Requirement: a) Develop, establish and train related AMISOM personnel on the following: b) Daily inspections of camp premises and vital installations and report writing; c) Conducting schedule maintenance; d) Conducting breakdown maintenance; e) Ground maintenance activities; f) Recognizing hazardous elements on the premises and remedial measures; g) Keeping minimum stock levels expendables and requesting replenishments; h) Recording all materials issuance and its authorization requirements; i) Preparation of daily/weekly/monthly sitreps and reports and its communication and record keeping; j) Maintaining visitors register; k) Coordination with all agencies/section regarding all camp management matters; l) Maintaining all emergency contacts; m) Provide basic training on maintaining vital installation such as fuel stations and rations stocks; n) Provide basic camp fire safety training; o) To identify health hazards and liaise with Medical sections; p) Maintenance of inventory of both assets and expendables. UNSOA intends to award a contract for nine (9) months period. Companies interested to participate in the tender are requested to submit their EOI by fax or e-mail as indicated above. This Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) does not constitute a solicitation. UNSOA reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements at any time during EOI and/or solicitation process. Submission of a reply to this EOI does not automatically guarantee that such firm will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. Only vendors, deemed qualified upon completion of an objective evaluation of their submission of EOI, will receive the final tender solicitation document.
