Provision of Turnstiles/Revolving Doors, Speed Lanes, and Related Technologies Solutions at UNHQ

The United Nations is seeking information about the market availability of turnstile/ security revolving doors and related technologies solutions to facilitate access control solutions at entry and exit points (indoor and outdoor) in support of the UN Headquarters Security Service mandates. These processes are already being performed by existing solutions that have reached or are about to reach the end-of-life cycle. This solution must be flexible and satisfy the different needs of each location including but not limited to footprint, manageability, and integration with the various access control security systems in the market. This Request for Information (RFI) presents several use cases (scenarios), defined as follows: “a specific situation in which a technology product or service could potentially be used by the UN.” The RFI is not prescriptive in terms of the technology solution the UN is seeking; on the contrary, it intends to identify technologies that address the UN requirements based on your expert answers. Some use cases will benefit from the same Technologies, hence vendors responding to this RFI may indicate that.
