Dear Bidders:UNOPS would like to inform you about the cancellation of the Request for Proposal for the provision of services related to Smart Grid Transformation in the Power Distribution Sector issued under RFP/2023/46451 without award.UNOPS has determined that after tender publication and further evaluations, it would be in the best interest to cancel the tender. One of the grounds under which the Request for proposal was cancelled is that proposals received were above the available budget. Henceforth, in accordance with section 39 (iii)Other UNOPS Rights which says " UNOPS may , in its absolute discretion alter, terminate, suspend or defer the Proposal process or any part of or activity in it. New clarification added: Yes, the poles will be geolocated. That is why it is 1) important to have local presence/counterparts in this project 2) there is provision in the TOR that consultant can propose a different timeline for implementation.

New clarification added: 1. An overall investment plan and Specific investment plan for the EC is ideal. An aggregated investment plan would also be accepted by geographic location or by EC classification. Ultimately, the consultant can propose and justify its methodology what it sees is best format of the investment plan and this should commensurate with its Financial proposal.2. The RE -EGF related simulations could be at an aggregate level. But each EC should be provided with capacity on how to do RE- EGF simulations/planning.

New clarification added: Dear Bidder,The engagement with the eletctric cooperatives will be coursed and managed with the National Electrification Administration. The Department of Energy's Smart Grid Policy Framework (DC 2020-02-0003) mandates the EC's to develop and update their GIS.

New clarification added: Dear Bidder,It was identified in ETP's results-based monitoring framework that at least 62 electric cooperatives must be assisted in this TA. This includes the EC's with green, yellow-1, and yellow-2 classification.
