Description
The Secretary-General of the United Nations seeks experienced consultancy firms to undertake a study on performance benchmarking for the Investment Management Division (IMD) of the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund (UNJSPF). The Fund is requesting consulting services to evaluate the current benchmark indexes within asset classes and relevant sub-asset classes as well as the Fund’s portfolio as a whole to maximize the probability of the Fund meeting its long-term performance objectives including the Fund’s targeted real of return of 3.5% per annum. In addition, the consultant should provide historical risk and return data across a range of indexes, as well as long-term forecasts for risk and return performance by index, as a basis for a recommendation to maintain, add to, and/or to change or modify the Fund’s current benchmarks and/or propose alternative more appropriate benchmarks. Suitable benchmark universe should take into account Fund’s risk profile and performance objective. It should be understood that the Fund is looking for appropriate performance benchmarks not policy benchmarks.
