Description :The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to enter into a contractual agreement with a successful bidder and select a suitable contractor to carry out video and animation production which includes creative concepts, punchy and engaging scripts involving complex issues, as well as filming, video editing and animation creation plus graphics, multi-language subtitling and/or voicing and when needed music track selections.

TERMS of WORK
Mastery of video and animation production with a solid sense of telling a story in 1 minute or 20 secs. Proven grasp of pitching creative concepts and script writing as well as planning production and on-time product delivery with multiple validations throughout the process.

In a two-year period starting April 2023 (that can be renewed for another two years,) complete up to 12 videos per year or animations or other based on demand. The work will vary between PSAs to short explainer like videos/animations to inspirational calls to action to institutional videos but also YouTube shorts and social media clips. Being bold and creative is good. Clean graphics and the art of illustrating graphics is a must i.e. have a good grasp of making information visually meaningful.

In order to monitor progress and revisions, UNAIDS will lay out the various video projects needed (at times with a fast-turnaround) and the bidder will propose 1-3 concepts for each project. Once concept is validated by bidder and UNAIDS, script revisions will be made with UNAIDS and the filming/editing/creative process can begin. The focal point at UNAIDS will be the video/multimedia Comms manager but note all projects will need to be validated by various UNAIDS managers, which can lengthen the overall process for final delivery.
