New clarification added: Regardind the Evidence of completion two (2) similar projects within the last five (5) years, shall the project be design and supervision or 1 projects for design services and 1 project for supervision services?UNOPS REPLY: Confirmed, Road design projects can be treated as similar, so both shall be of road design.

New clarification added: Our tender letter and company documents are uploaded with "RFP/2023/45521" refferance number. Documents are approved by the system. Our aplication is in draft state. We kindly request a clarification. UNOPS REPLY: Please visit the https://esourcing.unops.org/#/Help/Guides, page 32 "Once you have clicked on Submit, your submission status will change from Draft (blue colour) to Submitted (green colour)"

New clarification added: Dear Sir,What is the difference in requirements: Evidence of completion two (2) similar projects within the last five (5) yearsandSchedule 0.7 [Performance Statement] please clarify.UNOPS REPLY: It is required to provide the contact details of similar projects including Contract No., date, client, description, value... etc. In addition, attach the duly signed taking over/ completion certificate by the client/ beneficiary as evidence of satisfactory completion.

New clarification added: It was indicated in the TOR that the Consultant shall provide an Engineering Supports ONLY on a part time basis during implementation of the civil works contract “(4 site visits during the implementation of the civil works)”, while it was mentioned in table 21.1 KEY STAFF’S MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS that the Consultant shall appoint a full-time supervision team to supervise the works during the whole construction period.Kindly clarify the scope of work required by the Consultant during the implementation of the civil works contract.UNOPS REPLY: Four (4) site visits during the implementation of the civil works, doesn't mean part-time support, this is the minimum site visit requirement, however, the consultant shall be available for engineering support throughout the period of this contractor. It was indicated in both paragraphs 1.0. Objectives of the assignment / Point d & 2.0. Duration of the Services of the TOR that the Consultant shall prepare the shop drawings where required, kindly be advised that the preparation of the shop drawings is the Contractor’s responsibility, the Consultant shall only review and approve / disapprove the shop drawings. Please Confirm.UNOPS REPLY: Considering the design development capacity of the private sector contractors we prefer to have this responsibility with the design consultant, it will be much easier for the design consultant to modify the existing drawings and turn them to shop drawings, of course, the site information and layouts shall be obtained from the construction contractor.

New clarification added: Dear Sir/ Madam, Could you please confirm that that Tender RFP/2023/45521 will only cover "Survey & Design and Provision of Engineering Supports during Construction for the rehabilitation of one road in Anbar Governorate, 3 km road from the Anbar International road to entrance of Saqra village in Ana district under LIRA I project" and that total duration of contract would be 12 calander weeks? Hence, do we have to apply our finacial offer for only one road?UNOPS REPLY: Confirmed, the financial offer is required for only one road. please refer to the revised TORYou are asking to sumbit Consultant_Services_RFP_Section_II_III_IV_V in soft (Word) version, But there is nothing to fill in the meantime. Are we going to upload the file as it was downloaded from your website with no changes on? New clarification added: Dear Sir / Madam,Reference to the subject RFP document we would like to request your kind clarifications to the following inquires: Reference to QUALIFICATION CRITERIA, the firm should be registered under Iraq Engineering union. We are Jordanian consultancy firm classified and registered at Jordanian Engineers Association with a branch in Iraq, we have a registration ID at Iraqi Ministry of Trade as per the Iraqi regulations. The Iraq Engineers Association don’t register the non-Iraqi companies. They only register the individual Iraqi engineers. Moreover, both Jordan Engineers Association and Iraq Engineers Association are working under Federation of Arab Engineers, and all Arab Engineers can hold the same united ID card from any Arab Country. Please advise. UNOPS REPLY: Please check the revised criteria under the "Criteria" tab. You are kindly requested to provide us time extension in order to prepare solid comprehensive proposal, it is preferred to have two extra weeks. UNOPS REPLY: the tender has been extended until 2023-03-29 Is it required of us to fill the Consultant_Services_RFP_Section_II_III_IV_V in soft (Word) version or just signature and stamp and download it. New clarification added: Dear Sir / Madam,Referring to the qualification criteria, could you please confirm that in case of a Joint Venture between an internaional firm and an Iraqi firm, it would be sufficient for the Iraqi firm to be registered with the Iraq Engineering Union in order to satisfy the criteria?UNOPS REPLY: Confirmed. However, please follow the JV instructions under the "Consultant_Services_RFP_Section_I_InstructionstoOfferors.pdf" file.
